Fitness and Nutrition coach Mary Teunis started her athletic career as a competitive gymnast at age 5. After a car accident ended her career in the sport in her late teens, she found Crossfit and within a year was competing at a high level on a Crossfit Team. During this time she became increasingly interested in the nutritional side of health and fitness and went to school to study the subject so she could help people create sustainable, healthy relationships with food and exercise.
Mary’s positivity and energy are on full display on her social media accounts where she shares practical tips and tricks to help people fuel their bodies, move well in their workouts, and recover just as intentionally as they train.
In this episode, she shares her mindset behind her coaching approach, we bust some nutrition myths, and give you tactical advice to help you start eating better as soon as you finish the podcast!
